Christy is the Co-Owner and former Operations Manager for Mather Hair Design & Cosmetic Studio. She holds two degrees from Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Business Administration and Human Resource Management and has worked in the cosmetology industry for over 15 years. She enjoys collaborating with industry professionals around the country to bring quality services to the people who need them most.
She married Todd Mather in 2004 and six months later they débuted their signature salon. Over the years, “Mather Salon” has won numerous awards and become one of Tulsa’s celebrated beauty establishments, employing Tulsa’s top talent.
Christy is currently commissioned by Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt to the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology and Barbering, overseeing beauty industry standards, technology, and education. She has been influential in implementing safety and sanitation standards and writing legislation to help curb human trafficking in the State and rescue victims of abuse.
She loves her family and traveling, and enjoys speaking on a wide variety of topics from marketing and business to authentic living and finding purpose in the mundane happenings of life.
