With over 27 years of experience, Melanie Patterson is a highly skilled Master Hairstylist and Colorist. A graduate of the prestigious Von Curtis Academy for Hair, Melanie has further honed her craft through advanced training at Sebastian International in Los Angeles, Crew Mens Hair-cutting Academy in Boulder, and AlfaParf Colour Teacher Training Academy in Miami. Her expertise in color correction led her to become a color educator for AlfaParf. Melanie is known for her versatility, specializing in curly hair of all types and textures as well as advanced barbering techniques.
 
Beyond her work in the salon, Melanie has made significant contributions to the community, leading the hair and makeup team for the Tulsa Breast Cancer Survivors calendar and working on numerous photo shoots. Her talents have earned her recognition in various write-ups and editorials. In addition to her hairstyling career, Melanie is a certified yoga trainer and an activist, co-founding The Red Bird Project. She also showcased her entrepreneurial spirit by placing in the Spirit Bank Award Entrepreneurial Contest, which was featured in the Tulsa World.
